Hi I’m Bella!
Multidisciplinary Artist – Creative Instructor – Graphic Designer
Whether I’m designing vibrant visuals, teaching other artists, or exploring new creative outlets, I’m driven by a love for storytelling, connection, and hands-on artistry.

My Creative Path
I earned my B.S. in Visual Communication Design with a minor in Marketing from San Francisco State University.
My creative journey, shaped by both academic study and real-world application, has allowed me to build a versatile skill set across design, visual art, and arts education.

Notable Experience

Walt Disney Company Internship (Orlando, Florida) — Completed advanced coursework in brand design, visual storytelling, and marketing, learning directly from industry professionals.

Children's Book Internship (San Francisco, California) — Typeset and storyboarded a book, designing a visually cohesive interior and exterior layout to enhance the overall reader experience.

Chronicle Books Mentorship (San Francisco, California) — Gained hands-on insight into children’s publishing, illustration, and book design through a one-on-one mentorship.

SF City Vitals Branding (San Francisco, California) — Developed the visual identity for a nonprofit supporting individuals facing homelessness and expanding access to doula services.

Sustainable Practices in My Work
At the heart of my teaching and creative practice is the belief that art should be both accessible and environmentally conscious. In my classes and personal work, I prioritize using recyclable, repurposed, and found materials whenever possible. From cardboard scraps and fabric remnants to jars, paper rolls, and natural elements, I love showing that meaningful art can come from everyday items.
This approach helps reduce waste and empowers students to see creative potential in the world around them. I encourage all artists to embrace the idea of “use what you have” and to create with care for our environment. Art is about seeing more and not having more.
